JONNY, the short sleeve shirt, has become one of Hansen’s signature items. JONNY has a 50’s style convertible collar, a patched-on chest pocket and French seams all over.
This complex white Dobby cloth is made in Japan and has a handful of different
stripes due to the weaving method. Dobby Weave is small designs that requires
25 different warp arrangements to complete one design repeat. In this case the
white on white yarns create a beautiful relief or ornament to the surface. The
fabric is quite sturdy yet soft.
